Welcome to our Website
Visit the Kamo Club website and keep up to date with what’s happening at the club – latest entertainment, events, sports and activities. The ‘pick n Shovel restaurant is open from Wednesday to Sunday, check it out. Menu options will remain at the Contractors discretion but will represent value for money.
The Kamo Club Inc currently operates as per the Level 1, please see the information below regarding our reopening. if in doubt please phone 09 4351765
The Level 2 restrictions did not change last night, the limit stays at 50.
It has not been an easy decision and there are a few reasons we are staying closed.
To abide by the rules and follow Covid guide lines as correctly as we can, it is not viable to have the club open for maximum of 50 Members seated in a large area, It is certainly not economic to have the number of Staff required to give good service.
The Restaurant is also Closed.
There is an allowance for more outside but at a 2-meter spacing is not ideal and it is a smoker’s area, so it limits the amount of people that would want to use that space.
The toilets are another factor but the builder is working very hard to get them finished by the end of the week.
If Auckland is dropping a level next Tuesday midnight. Kamo Club will reopen pending that no levels go up, on Thursday 23 September.
Our hours will be 11.00 am till 9.00 pm (last call for drinks 8.30) on set days.
We will be having a “thank you for your patience and welcome back Happy hour 5’clock till 6’clock” on that first day of opening.
The temporary hours will continue until we get to level 1. Just so you know those hours will be Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday – 11.00 am till 9.00 pm (last call 8.30).
There will be some that are not happy with this move but please do not take it out on the staff.
If you have issues please talk to Fruity, but at the end of the day it is what is.
Let’s move forward and look forward to the future. Onwards and upwards.
Frances Clark (Fruity)
As stated above: Menu options will remain at the Contractors discretion but will represent value for money.
