The Kamo Ukes help with ‘The International Day of Families’
The Kamo Ukes play Parahaki Court November 2014, to a sell out concert. It was great fun.

On Saturday August 30th 2014 Our Group Hosted a workshop with ‘The Nukes’ Ukulele Group from Auckland.
30 odd attended the 3 hour session, they came from the Hokianga, Russell, Dargaville, Waipu and Whangarei District.
Thanks to Sandra Bogart from Waipu who rallied most of the people up.
What a great day, I was amazed how good we all sounded. The Nukes were excellent too.
The Nukes are a professional singing/song writing group who are happy to share some of the
knowledge, if you get a chance to see them in concert don’t hesitate.

Feb 1, 2013, A recent concert our band of eleven Players and one singer entertained for an hour, the song list

Don’t sit under the Apple Tree, and many more..
March 2014 the ‘Kamo Ukes’ are still going. If there was any doubt. We took a trip to Russell to visit the makers of the famous New Zealand Banjo Ukulele, three of our members had purchased them and they sound great. We had a great lunch at the Duke and some fine tuning was done on the Banjo Ukuleles.
